Hello everyone, in this opportunity I´m going to talk about a special filmmaker.

Raúl Ruiz was a Chilean filmmaker, born in 1941 in Puerto Montt (same city that me) and died in 2011 in Paris, France. He directed more of 100 films, Raúl Ruiz along Miguel Littín and Patricio Guzmán are the most important Chilean filmmakers for me.

He was exiled in 1973 product the military coup against the Allende government. Consequently, he arrived exiled to France, in this context he was filming “Dialogue d'exilés”, my favourite film of Ruiz, because narrate the adventures and misfortune of Chilean exiles, all these under a satirical perspective, for that reason the film was rejected for the Chilean left.

The filmography of Raúl Ruiz is characteristic of the plot without central conflict because he defended the magic events in the daily relationships.

  La Arena is a small cove, this place is located to 45 min from Puerto Montt if you take the Carretera Austral. I visited with my family this place in the first weekend of March. La arena was the last place outside the Puerto Montt that visited before the pandemic. We navigated on a ferry was going to Caleta Puelche, the round trip delayed 60 min and I used this moment to take photos. The photo in the post was took for me. I remember that after of get off the ferry, we went to eat empanadas fritas to the little restaurant. La Arena is very popular, there are a lot of little restaurants and the speciality is the empanada. If you will go to La Arena I advise you to eat empanadas. This photo reminds my life before the pandemic, I really miss travel carefree. Thanks for reading.

Post graduate studies.

Hello everyone. In my case, like I´m an student of Art Theory and History, the subjects in the career are divided in two field of knowledge. The first is the Art History, is focused in the study about the problematic of representation under a system of chronological frameworks. The second is the line of aesthetic and her focus study the problem of the representation, not only in the art, but also in the human sensitive experience on the world. Personally, I am more interested in this last because I think that is wider because, not only works about art, now that is a discipline arise from the Philosophy. I would like study a Doctorate of Aesthetics, Sciences and Technologies of the Arts in the university of Paris 8 in France, because a lot of authors that I have studied, was or are professors in this university. I hope would give me a scholarship to study in Paris 8, for that reason I need learn English and French. Thanks for reading.
